Military Families Against Endless War Newsletter 83: Marine Mom's View lead article is by is an article by Elaine Brower who writes, "I am the mother of a US Marine Corps reservist who is currently on his third tour of duty.. The Army calls it 'stop-loss,' the Marine Corps calls it 'dedication.' I call it disgusting."

Under Obama's orders, the Defense Department is preparing to send about 17,000 additional troops to Afghanistan this year, while pulling about 12,000 combat troops out of Iraq. Simple math shows that stress on ground forces from extended and repeated combat deployments is not going to end soon.
